Flicker Shad hooks

I'm reading a lot about guys changing the hooks on Flicker Shad's to red trebles. Berkley confirmed to me today that the hooks are size 6 on all sizes. There are different style treble hooks. I was curious as to what style most guys are using. Thanks, Pop

I change mine out to the Xcaliber rotating treble hooks in bronze or black. You just have to be careful because they stick anything that they brush against.

I change all mine on the back to KVD mustad red triple grip size 4. Usually don't mess with front hook.

Does the increase in hook size change the action? Thanks, Pop

Pop, not that I can tell. Have run them side by side and the wobble seems to be the same. Really hasn't made any difference to the fish except they get hooked better.

I like the Mustad Ultra points that come on the newer flicker Minnows. I run them off from Planer boards trolling for walleye. I haven't missed a fish with them yet.
