Default Best new stuff from BPS

Here are a few things I noticed that stood out from the rest.

    1. 8 new excellent colors of BPS crappie beaver. My favorite new lure from last year and they fixed the only thing I didn't like. The colors. The only color I wanted from the originals is the chart glitter. I'll buy every one of the new colors and I suggest you do as well. They are gonna slam!!

    2. New BPS spinning reel that look like they are MFG'd by USREEL. If thats the case I'm VERY interested in them. I've wanted to get my hands on a USREEL ever since I first saw them. They remind me of the original Lew Speed Spins with updated technology. Should be excellent light line casters with low line twist and super smooth retrieves, and made in the USA. That alone makes me interested. I'm tired of Asian reels.

    3. New Kalins triple threat colors.

    4. $99 BPS trolling motor.

    5. $249 Lowrance color fishfinder, and a slighly less expensive duplicate by eagle. I'd like some of you guys who are fishfinder pros to give opinions on the new crop of fishfinders. Especially the affordable ones. ---- Guess this isn't new this year. Oh well

    6. Rapala Minnow Rap. The only really sweet new hard lure.

Unfortunately, thats about it for the affordable stuff. No thundersticks at all, no new RR colors or designs that matter, and nothing in the lures that stands out from last year There are some great new reels, but most are too expensive. Who else wants a STEEZ by diawa. Just that name is cool, but I wont be buying any $500 reels anytime soon. I want to though.

Pretty disappointed in this years crop of rods. There is some good stuff there, but nothing really stands out as new except for the STEEZ again, but again the cost is too high. I still want a rod with the new titanium recoil eyes, but that was last years innovation.

Let me know if you guys found more than I did.

Are these new and do they have spinning guides or casting guides? Bass Pro ShopsŪ Wally Marshall™ Pro Series Crappie Rods

Possibly interesting new lure - Storm™ ScatBack™ Crankbaits

When are they gonna make a floating X-Rap???

Very disappointed they don't have the new Thundersticks.

BPS dosent stock these yet, but I'm very happy to see that Mr. Twister has released the G-Grub.

This is a close copy to the Mr. Mean that they made for Cabelas years ago. They come in 3" and 4" and big crappie, bass and walleye CRUSH EM!

I've used the beavertails and was never knocked out by them. They have been on the market for quit a few years though I think they made the smaller ones everyone got excited about this last year. I liked the BPS crappie beaver so much I never got a chance to try the new smaller beavertails. IMHO the crappie beavers are a much better design and now they have better colors as well.

I still have some of the original Mr Means. I liked em. Are they selling them anywhere besides their own website yet?

Those are nicer than the originals and great colors. Kinda pricey though.

    Grizz-

I havent found them anywhere else yet. And yes, the price is kinda high. I'm sure retailers will have them cheaper soon.

I used to kill and I mean kill fall walleye on the old Mr. Mean!

I loved to fish it down deep in the rocks at a crawl.
Then they quit selling them, and my supply was gone. I was very upset.

I tried a million other plastics, but didnt have the same results.

Then last week a friend emailed me the link to the new G-grub.

I'm gonna start by ordering about eleventy-million :D

Default some new bad stuff also

Orderd some of that MR Crappy line, the pink cammo stuff. Maybe because the water temp and air temp both were in the high 40 range, but it is the worst line i have ever used. its like coiled steel, springs off after the bail opens, and this was after dragging it behind the boat for a mile.I wont send it back till I give it a warm weather water try, but am very disappointed with this product.

If you didn't get it for the visibility I suggest you try Gamma. Its uber limp and strong.
