wLure.com. China.

That was the first place I found, too, Cane Pole. Might well be where "mrdux" (Ky member) gets his, as he's always talking about the C55 blank as the one he buys and paints.

Ljones ... you might send him (mrdux) a PM and ask if this is where he gets his blanks, or if there's another place with similar products & prices.

This is where I ordered some rattle traps. The rattle traps look good. I know Rickie orders from them.

Is clickable actually a word?? :scratchhead Probably not.

wLure is where I buy my c255 and c549 blanks. DO NOT buy hooks or split rings from them. They are terrible.

And if anyone buys the pre-painted cranks from wLure ...cut those trebles off and replace with better hooks ...

Free shipping from wLure takes about 8 days (I think it's by boat) ...and you will get a Chinese tracking number lol ...

They offer expedited shipping at minimal cost also ...

I can't paint. Prepainted with no hooks wuz not an option, but I will take your word on the hooks. However, the do stick fingers.

c55s on top--c549 on bottom

c55 is slightly larger than a 300 Bandit and will dive deeper.
c549 is about the size of a shadrap and will dive 10-12 feet deep on 100 feet of line.
Both of these baits run true. I've had to tune very few of them. Can't say that about some of the other blanks.

Thanks. It's funny how our minds work sometimes. I rarely have a pattern in mind when I sit down at my paint bench, I just let the paint flow. I have some baits that the fish love that would be an embarrassment to put on a public forum. Folks would be 100% sure they were done in a pre-school class. Those go in the box marked "For my eyes only". I will guarantee you the fish have never seen anything like them. Maybe they hit them to put it out of its misery. Works for me!
