Crappie.com decals

I swapped boats and was going to put some CDC decals on my new rig. I have a couple of the small ones on the clear plastic film along with larger ones with the paper backing. I know how to apply the larger ones with paper backing but I can't remember how to do the small ones on the clear plastic film.
Somebody want to refresh my memory?

My daughter put mine on the boat for me the back plastic pills off then you place on boat. Press the yellow part in real good as only the fish and writing will be left on the boat when you pull the front piece of plastic film off. Be real careful because it is real easy to tear. So go slow and separate the front from the yellow fish and writing.

Ray, it is actually 3 layers. You want to only leave the middle layer on wherever you put it. Like they said, looking at it like you read it. Peel off the back. Leaving the yellow stuck to the front. Stick the whole thing on. Rub with a credit card. (paw paw Gene taught me this) Then pull off the top layer, being careful around each letter and the fish. If they start to come off, press it back down and try from a different angle. Good luck!!

I thought that was how it worked, but for the life of me I could not get the 2 parts separated. I will work on it tomorrow when I have more time and better light.

to get them separated just bend a small portion of one of the corners.....bend or fold one way.....and then the other way....you should see two edges then on the corner....peel off the side you need off.

Or place a piece of masking tape on each side. Peel apart the masking tape and the layers should seperate for you.
