Default Looking for better jig heads...

I would like to buy some 1/16, 1/32, and 1/8 oz jig heads that use good, larger hooks. I have looked at all the big stores and I can only get a decent size hook in 1/8 oz or higher. Any recommendations? Would love to support a CC member of possible.
no matter what I'm doing, I've got hunting or fishing on my mind...

There are a few members that sell jigs. I buy from them myself. I like a 1/32 with a # 2 sickle hook for a great hook set. Look in the ad section or at the bottom of post where members advertise their products.

The sickle hooks have a nice wide gap, and they are thin enough wire to bend and re-straighten several times. Entyzer Jigs will put some together for you with painted heads, spinner blades, etc

The member known as Grousefly (Paul Mullins) can custom make jig heads to suit you.

I get my 1/32 & 1/16oz jig heads with #2 Aberdeen hooks from him.

You can PM him, call him @ 6066423167 or email him at [email protected] .... tell him you're a Crappie.com member and exactly what you're looking for, and he should be able to fix you up.

I have a Brand new Field and Stream 5 miles from my home. Yes I'm lucky lol......anyway they carry Strike King Mr. Crappie jig heads, I usually buy the 1/32 and the 1/16oz. Fantastic jig heads that are a quality product and all size jig heads come with a #2 hook, which is what you want for crappie! Give them a look!

I had some lite wire jigs made by a member, highly recommend. You pick the hook size, it works great for me. I like a deep hook on tubes and catch many more crappie with these hooks. Just search lite wire hooks and you will find several makers.
