    Unhappy

Asian carp have all but ruined the oxbows on both sides of the river. I know of no one who fishes them anymore.

When I used to fish em over here I would get up in the Cypress trees or just on the outside edge. When bedding a couple I used to fish had sand banks that tapered into deeper water and that is where they would build their beds. If you got any pads or weed beds try around them. They like shade. But with water temps like we have now don't discount trying the deepest water you can find. Fish a small weight a foot or two above your hook and just drag along bottom real slow.
