Fishin Saturday afternoon
Paul got off work early yesterday so we scooted up to Big Sandy for some quality time. We hadn't been on the water ten minutes when all heck broke loose. The wind got really strong and it started pouring so hard you couldn't see 5 feet in front of the boat. Luckily, it didn't last long but we were completely soaked. We just wrung out our clothes as best we could and commenced to fishin. This was our second time to try long lining and we had a great time. Caught some crappie (in fact, my first keeper crappie long lining)and a ton of catfish. We'll be doing some more of this technique for sure. By the way, thanks Fle-fly - we were using the bubble gum spray that we got at the Illinois camp and it works.
