    Default Trolling at Smithville yesterday

Went trolling fo crappie yesterday, started out pitiful, nothing on the dam then was able to get under W bridge this time, ( water receding, alittle) went up to the road beds, nothing, so went back down the lake hunting, (balls of shad were scarce. ) Ended up with 5 crappie and ran into a whole bunch of white bass, got about 10 of them, if it weren't for them storm clouds rolling in would've had a limit. It sprinkled a little yesterday morn, took refuge under Little Platte boat slip for about 15 minutes , then hit the lake again. Little Platte boat launch is still closed, I launched at Crows Creek.

Thanks for the report. If the weather cooperates, I was planning on doing a little trolling on the Ville also. Crappie/Whites both work for me.

A school of White's is a lot of fun when pulling!multiple rods down, they pull hard, fight like the dickins, thanks for the report.

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
From an old movie I saw
