Hello Slab Seeker, Sounds like you had a good time! May I ask what you were using for bait with the bream? Were you using live bait or a lure or jig? I enjoy fishing for the large blue gills. If you catch one that goes say a pound and half or two you have a good fight on your hands, Good luck on your next trip! Good Fishing and God Bless! Jimmy S.

JimmyS, I was using good ol' home dug worms. I also fished near creek mouths with some kind of current.

Hey, I have used roadrunner bubblebellys down there the last few times I have been and they have caught everything from crappie, bream and even catfish. Give that a shot next time. Its a whole lot better then having to rebait your hook every one or two fish.
