How big are the white perch you catch? Been thinking about making a trip somewhere to catch a bunch of them just for fun.
Campgrounds closed and as of 5 31 2015 the spillway was not releasing any water. I caught a 19" wiper, small cats, white perch. Perfect weather! Picture is sailboat ramp area.

The white perch I catch are usually small 4" to 5" - I caught a few last summer under the railroad bridge that were 8" to 9" that I kept for the skillet. I kill lots of dinky white perch every year. May be fun and beneficial to have a white perch tournament each year to help thin them out. I will sign up!
Thank you for the pictures and update on conditions at Eldorado. I appreciate it.
There's still a lot of floating brush and muddy water...as of last Friday. That boat ramp still looks just like that. Had to wade up to knees to get on that dock putting on. It still doesn't look like they are letting water out. Fishing was tough for me...only was out for a few hours, but didn't find any concentrations of fish.
