Thanks for the update. We will continue to pray for you and your family. Get some rest.
Well I am as tired and I have ever been in my life, but I will try to make some since here.
Just to kind of keep it short and still have the info....he has been getting better and better each day and the only thing that has been negative was they were giving him too much of a certain drug they use when the to some of the wound care, but that is straight too now.
Friday the Secretary of the Army came and presented him with his Purple Heart and something they call a coin from the same guy and I will probably put a pic of them in my Sig for a wile, but after I rest some. They broke the hospital rules for the ceremony and let us all in his ICU room to see him get it.
There will be up days and down days, but I have to say he's doing great considering. He started walking with much assistance a few days ago. His first day it was 7 steps, the next day was not good as he got the previous spoke about drug (too much) but a couple days later he did 8 steps and then all the way out of his room and through the small nurse room attached to his and to the hall near by. He will push it as much as he can as he is just that way.
He will have surgery next week to move some mussel from his lat area to his buttocks.
I will try to remember more after I get a brain rest as I am just wore out!
Thanks for all your prayers and please keep them coming,

Get some much needed rest my friend. Thoughts and prayers will continue from our end.
Thats great skip. A smart nurse told me once that the ones that walk the most recover the fastest. Glad to hear he is stubborn and is gonna work hard getting better.
Hang in there bud and get some rest.
Good things come to those who bait.
He is in my prayers, God bless him for the sacrifice he has made for our country.
