Does anyone know if the fishing has picked up at clinton or perry outlets? I want to take my daughter but I haven't heard anything good yet. It's a bit of a drive for us is the main reason I'm asking. Thanks

Perry outlet last night, was there as the day came to the end. Depending on which discharge the report I read 4000/5460 fps lots of water. There four men fishing eastside of where the outlet discharges, seen them catch small crappie and an a drum. More shore fisherman fishing downstream where the trees/grass is, did not get close enough to see they were having success. Slough creek ramp open with half a dozen boat trailers, spoke with one couple been out for an hour had caught two crappie. The water looks good there, but muddy toward the 92 bridge, with logs in the water.
