Default HD ramp report. HD Point Closed

The Hillsdale Point ramp is not usable. Water in the parting lot
Dock 80 yards put on the water. Dike couple feet underwater (could be good spot).

Great pix though. Liked the comment 'Dike couple feet underwater (could be good spot)." That made me smile. And this is a report, so good luck on the Slider contest.

Guessing that dike may be 4 foot under water. Neat place to fish back in the woods in a couple of spots on the east side now. Buddy caught good channels and carp in the grass at the campground. This week. Also, heard rumor all campsites taken or flooded out for this weekend.

Minners. Slip bobbers 4 to 6 foot down in the dike backwater close to the end as you can keep it. All kinds. Lighted bobber = all night long. Lake length not in effect behind dam.

I fished the outlet yesterday. Caught a smallmouth on a slipbobber and minner, one crappie on a jig, and a perch on a bare hook by the sidewalk when I laid the rod down to bait a hook. I had one rod baited with beef spleen (melt) and didn't get a nibble on it. The water was about 3 feet below the sidewalk.

Personally I've never done that great behind the dam when their not running good water. Less your going to take a canoe down the creek, pretty rough bite when its low. IMO.
