    Default Lake Fayetteville Crappie

Just wondering how you might fish Lake Fayetteville when it re-opens?

    Hello! Welcome aboard!
Are you fishing by boat? If so I would start by locating the main creek channel with your electronics and fish the ledges and drop offs with a drop shot rig or trying to locate brush piles sunk near the main creek channel and fish them with a slip float rig baited with a live minnow fished almost to the bottom or where the fish show up, those two spots should hold Crappie when it re-opens! The people that run the dock are quite knowledgable, you might try asking where the best spots are!
    Good luck!

Tks for the info.. I'm looking fwd to learning more about the lake. I've fished for the bluegills there, but will be looking for crappie for the first time this year.
