Looks like a great project to start with. Congrats on the boat.
I bought a boat at the Illinois Crappie Camp.
Used boat that is, from the longest member on this site.
I was going to buy over the 2015-2016 winter and work on it over the winter. However, someone was itching to get rid of it.
I needed a bigger boat, grandkids and all.
I also wanted a project boat. Read cheap to buy. However I get to rip it apart and rebuild it to suit my fishing/family needs.
I wanted a 16'-17' boat. no more than 7.5' wide (boat and trailer).
Tiller- 40-60hp. Johnson/Evinrude motor.
Large livewell with a build in bait well.
Roller trailer.
Rest of it doesn't really matter.
I will add pictures and time lapse videos as I get them completed.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
I've always like dirty oar. But that may not work with grandkids aboard
search Frank Zappa Titties and beer on youtube. This is the music I grew up on.

Yes, I fish like a girl. If you tried a little harder, you could too!!
Just look how far down the ramp the trailer is. That ramp drops off almost 90 degrees. I sat an watched for about 10 minutes then asked if he needed any help. He popped an attitude so I called dad and told him to pull the trailer to the ramp about a mile down. As far as I know he's still trying to load it up.
kind of deep
