Thumbs up 1st Trip of the New Year

Paul and I finally made it to the lake today for some great crappie fishing. This is the first time I've been able to go since I had my surgery in October, and boy was I ready! Had a great time, the Kentucky Lake wind gods were kind today, and Paul finally caught a bigger fish than me - HA! He hooked on to a crappie that bent his pole just about in half - thought it was a drum at first, but NO - it was a 2 lb 12 oz crappie, 16 1/2 inches long and 14 inch girth - what a pig!!! Pics are attached, the fish on the right is a 10 1/2 inch, but looks even smaller next to the big one. We sure had a ball and started out 2007 just right!

Glad to see that you got to go out and do some fishing. Nice looking slab!

    Hey Vonna:

That's a HAWG for sure! You were nice to let Paul catch it. Glad you finally got out on the water.

That is a BIG fish. Good job Paul. I sure am glad that you caught it instead of Vonna for a change. LOL. Got ya'lls message on the machine tonight, but it is too late to call back. Glad to see a pic of the xpress also. Gonna mount that thing or is it taking an ice bath? FATBOY
