    Default What battery for light?

    Hey

What battery does everybody use for the lights for fishing at night? I am looking for something that will make it all night.

    Thanks

ya gotta go with deep cycle, get the highest amp rating you can afford, the basspro 175 has done me well and you can get it for less than 50.00 alot of the time

I have 2 of the yellow marine batteries from walmart hooked in parallel. I run 2 starfires in the water and one clamp on with a 50 watt bulb to see in the boat with. I usually go for around 3-4 hours per night and make a couple trips (easily) without recharging the batteries. More lights would be more draw, but that's all I use most of the time.
