Congratulations to Doug Allen and Larry Yates, the 2015 Salamonie Champs with a total weight of 7.48lbs. They were also beat out of the big fish by .01lbs, with a 1.68lb slab. This is their 3rd tournament win of the 6 we have fished this year and pretty much sews up the 2015 points championship for these guys! They would be the 1st team since Tom Hankins and Glenn Gill to repeat since the Indiana Slab Masters began. Two years in a row of being the B'n'M Points Champions is a tremendous feat! These guys have become the team to beat at every event!
Second place was Noel Thompson fishing alone. Noel has become a threat every single tournament out and finished 3rd in last week's Crappie USA Tournament. Noel had a total weight of 6.34lbs. and a tie for big fish of 1.69. The other big fish winner was Bret Cunningham who after yesterday has had 3 straight weeks of top 5 finishes, finishing 5th at Freeman/Shafer, then 5th last week at the Crappie USA Salamonie Tournament, then finishing 5th yesterday at Salamonie!
Third place was the team of Charlie and Paul Hildreth, these guys have had a very successful year this season as well, collecting trophies at Brookville (2nd), Freeman/Shafer (tied for 1st, 2nd by tiebreaker), and 3rd at Salamonie. During the tournament season as the year wears on, the teams on top of their game really start showing themselves, and all of these teams and individuals are there!
Please join me in congratulating each of these worthy Indiana Slab Masters competitors! We had a total of 37 teams show up to fish yesterday and for only the 3rd time in club history we had every single team weigh a limit of 7 fish! Great job club!

Heaviest 7 fish stringer wins. The big fish pot is going to be a nice payback as well. Even if you just go out and fish for a big fish it may be worth your time!
