I am assuming your are referring to rechargable AAA batteries. I use them in my digital camera. I use AA rechargable batteries in my GPS.
Fellas,

You know like the ones you would use in a camera
Thanks,

I don't know about using the in a GPS but my wife buys them for our camera and they are really work well in it (up to 7 times longer life). I would assume they would work well in a GPS also. She uses Energizer E2 Lithium AA size.
i use regular duracells in my Garman 76cxs I do have a 12 volt adapter to plug into the outlet in my truck and boat which makes it easy.

Me too. My GPS will eat up some batteries.Originally Posted by mistertwister
My GPS ate batteries up so fast that I went out to Walmart and bought the same batteries I use in my digital camera. Been using them for several weeks now and have not experienced any problems. Batteries sure as heck last longer now.

I got tired of my Garmin etrx ledgend eating batteries and went to the rechargables. Now my battery costs are less and the impact on the enviroment is reduced too.
