    Default Rising/falling lake level

With the recent storms in the midwest our lake level has risen dramatically in the last week (8'). It appears to have reached the crest and has begun falling slowly. I am hoping to get out to fish this Sunday, is that enough time for the lake to stabilize and have decent fishing? Will the fish stay on the banks in this rising/falling level condition? Any help is appreciated. thanks

Falling lake levels make for some tough fishing. Especially if they are still spawning. They don't want to spawn in an area that may end up on dry ground. Lots of times in rising/falling levels, the fish will sort of stay in their "normal" spawning areas
