Has the crappie spawn started yet or am I to late? Bank crappie fisherman here!

Hey guys, I went to smithville lake yesterday to give it a try and from 6pm-1:30am, I only manage to catch 2 keepers out of 10. I was fishing far right close to a bridge that is called "County Road W" from what the map says apparently. I was using minnows in about 3 fow. I'm not sure whats going on, are the crappie finish spawning? Are they back in the main waters? I hear people catch alot from "W Hwy Bridge" but I'm not sure where that is at exactly, can someone show me? Thanks for all info thats given. Really into crappie fishing but new to it as well when it comes to the right days to fish and where etc.!

Should try this on the Missouri board! I am not from your area, but would think there are some still coming in and out of spawning grounds. Brighter moon is better for a night bite.
