    Default Sunday Crappie Report

Had been hearing rumors that there were crappie to be caught down at Catfish Hotel (hwy #50 & St. John's, south to power lines). Took off down there Friday morning, fished there and all the way back, NADA, one little 6" bream.

Went this morning to Lake Harney, was absolutely beautiful, slick as glass, cool air. Was estatic cruising out on the lake to my spot, running lights on, dawn just cracking.

Ran into my old fishing partner out there we all stayed together and had a great morning. He's got a new Gehnue (used) with a 50 HP Merc on it.

Breeze came up around 11am, we came on in. Total for me was seven Crappie.

Indeed it was another rare and great morning to be out on the water.
Have a nice day everyone !

    Cool Florida Fishing

Sorry you did not do better on the St. John's.
I have had 3 good days.
Went out scouting Sat Aft. and came back with 16. Limited out on Sun Aft. and Mon. aft. Fish are running a lot larger this year so far.

    Minnows.
Every now and then I tried a little beetle-Spin with a red and white curly tail grub on it but no takers on that.
