    Default Repurpose waders

I have an old pair of neoprene waders that leak a little after 25+ years. I patched & glued, but hate to throw them away. Thought about making them into rain/snow bibs (cut boots off and install zipper in legs. Am I just getting cheap?

Whatever works. As long as they keep you warm and dry that's all that matters.

I just want to know, what kind of waders last 25 years? I get two years out of a pair, if I'm lucky!

Old Cabelas guide boot foot waders. Still have a pair of Simms neoprene stocking foot waders as well. Used to fly fish alot in Colorado. Last few years of wading cattails have taken their toll.

If you cut the leg off, they make great gun scabbards for 4 wheeler, side by side or duck boats.....anywhere mud is an issue.
