Finally have found the 'almost perfect' crew. Hit the water with an aviator, military intellignece guy, and a cavalryman. The aviator continuously scanned all of our poles (as if watching his instruments) and called out all of the bites we were missing. The military intelligence guy gave solid intel throughout the morning--like when he reported it could possibly rain as the bilge pump came on. And me, the cavalryman just drove our horse around in the lake. Worked pretty good. We could just use somebody who actually knows what they're doing, though.
Fun day. Slow for crappie. Most bank fishers weren't doing well either. Most of them got back in their trucks as rain started. After a couple of slow crappie fishing hours, we switched to trolling nightcrawlers and quickly came up with 2 walleyes, and whites and wipers to make it a very successful day. Brad
