MOTHER'S DAY IS MAY 10th

2nd Sunday in May please thank and remember your mother. Thank you to all mothers here on crappie.com... Mine taught me to enjoy fishing. Mine has been deceased now for 33 years, but I still remember her words. Proverbs 1:8 “My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: THE LAW OF A MOTHER IS THE LAW OF LOVE based on Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” A Mother is a friend, confidant, personal advisor, lover, referee, peacemaker, housekeeper, laundress, chauffeur, interior decorator, gardener, painter, room decorator, barber, seamstress, appointment manager, financial planner, bookkeeper, money manager, personal secretary, teacher, disciplinarian, entertainer, plumber, psychoanalyst, nurse, public relations expert, dietitian and nutritionist, baker, chef, fashion coordinator and work in the church too. Somebody said this once, “The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world.” A Godly mother’s laws will always shape your thoughts and actions. Thank God for mom.

I'll bet all the mothers and their children here on crappie.com can relate to this thread and say something about their mother and if they helped them to learn to fish.

I told my Boys yesterday while fishing that we would not be on the water Mothers Day as the day is too important. They got it which made me proud. I just called my Mom and invited her over to the house for lunch on that day. I then invited all of my Brothers and Sisters and their children. Should be 50 folks coming over which is always fun.

Very good Ship......my Mother took me fishing often....my Dad was deployed over seas in the Navy.......my Mother filled in and did a fantastic job.
