    Was out charting a lake today, uploaded the data and found this on the lake. This is an old strip mine. Looks like shovel scopes, what do you think?

    I do plan on fishing it next weekend and see what's down there. Wonder if I can find it on the side scan?

    I am leaning towards Maxwells idea. Cant tell the terrain depth differences but these marks are parallel like tracks. If they were shovel or drag line marks they would intersect at an angle.

    Showed it to a couple of in-laws over the weekend. There thinking its the trail to the bottom of the pit to get equipment in and out of the pit. I thinking it's more vertical, like the side has been notched out. It doesn't appear like the depth changes. Thoughts?
