    good day on an area lake. i still can only catch fish on minnows at this spot and usually over 30 feet deep. oh well i wont complain i got my biggest one i ever caught today( alittle over 16 in) felt good i bet its gonna taste good too.

    p.s my chumming idea didnt work. when i got back the bottom of the bag had fell through.

    those are some nice fish, Bama. Looks like your big'un was almost a meal for a predator. That's amazing how they can live after something takes a chunk out of it. I caught a large male last friday that had holes through it's skin on both sides of it's stomach. The holes (4 on each side) were in a line and were about the diameter of a pencil. That didn't keep him form being hungry, tho. lol

    your right john. them big ens dont get that way by being wimps. this one bit the wrong minner today though i bet hes looking real bad out there in the trash lol.
