Our brush pile efforts finally pay off. Limits in three hours. Only going to get better too as the females come off the nests. Camping in the Angelina National Forest, or at least above it. The lake is about 5 foot high and has inundated what otherwise would be dry shoreline. I saw these big oaks in about two foot ofwater and they were providing great shade for an afternoon nap. So I didn't let the opportunity getaway. Hammock in the boat is so convenient. Slept there in the boat that nighttoo. Bass feeding on grass shrimp all night long...great white noise to sleep.

Awesome! I love to night fish and catch a few Z's at night as well. So relaxing. Good report and glad the brush piles are holding.
