Nice write up PS!
Didi's brother (Sonny) and his beautiful wife (Sophia) who live in Los Angeles (West Covina), came for a visit this week......we went on a boat ride Wednesday launching at Attakapas Landing on the south end of Lake Verrett......we only encountered one very light sprinkle of rain that lasted 2 minutes....we traveled a total of 46 miles by water.....went down 4 mile Bayou, across Grassy Lake, up Bayou Sherman, down Bayou Cheramie, up into Union canals, down Belle River to Stephensville then up to Bayou Magazile and back across Lake Verrett to the launch......water was very high, idle zone only around residential and camps....saw lots of alligators....and some birds.....Didi got one nice shot of an Eagle....they let me try for a bass in 2 spots for about 30 minutes.....bass did not cooperate though......Sonny and I have fished that area in the past but it was Sophia's first trip to see that area.....I think she loved it......
We ate out at "Fleur de Lis" Pizza one day which was a treat.....
Nice write up PS!

Thanks for sharing. Great pictures. Love the eagle, and the one of the storm clouds in the background, while the sun is shining on the cypress trees. Sure was some muddy water though. Sounds like everyone had a good time!
