Crappie nibbles work great on bluegill and crappie. I usually cut them into 2 or 3 pieces so they go further. But now that I have the bait pump, I'll just be filling up a tube jig for the bluegill most likely.
    I have a jig with a face like this!

Ok, thanks for the info....I have a bottle of Berkley "Gulp" maggots an was wondering how they would work....The pump sounds interesting....I would think the "spray" bait scents like Yum "crawfish" and others might work on jigs, but not sure....Might work, I don't see why not....Does anyone make their own scents????Thanks again for the info Glowgood....LC

Seabait brand night crawler. I have it in liquid and stick form. Come and take a look. We also have bloodworm, fish egg, and sandworm. I have used them to catch bass, crappie, white bass and catfish.

Come to think of it, I used to do REAL good using Uncle Mike's glo-scent in Nightcrawler flavor for bluegill and trout. I quit using it since I found out about Crappie nibbles, but I know it is good stuff too. In fact I've used several of Uncle Mike's flavors with good results. They are oily, though. Leave a sheen on the water for a while and I didn't like that.

YUM works for me. I just spray it on a cricket and get ready.

I'm pretty sure it is shad flavor. If not then it would be crawdad. It's purple, I do know that. I also know it works!

Yeah, I would like to try the "crawfish" also....Maybe I'll just play around and make my own "scents"....It's interesting to see what all goes into these scents....DemoMan
