That would be the only thing missing on Crappie.com....
Over the last couple of years I have held a Crappie Tournament to help raise awareness and funds for the local Goodwill Assistance Dog Academy here in Chattanooga. Prior to this event, I send out letters, request, and info about these life changing service dogs that learn 90 commands and basically operate as the hands an arms to those with a physical disability. I get lots of wonderful replies and even people telling me their own stories of how their dog some way or another made their life better.
I always am blessed by someone special that will go beyond a simple request for a donation, a prize, a give away, or a sponsorship. This year was no different. I was emailing to Mr. Slab about my event and he passed some of my info onto a fellow crappie.com member that took my heartfelt thoughts and created a banner for this tournament that tells the story of Crappie for Canines. When I first saw the creative story telling banner I was so overwhelmed with emotions that someone too saw a vision I had to help raise awareness for this cause that is very near and dear to my heart. A simple thank you doesn't begin to say all that my heart feels but is a great beginning. THANK YOU.
