The "Big Foot" or "Pace Extension Handle" at Bass Pro will work for the electric steer motors. If it is an cable drive motor, something will have to be made as I have not seen anything at Bass Pro or other stores. I have made them for several guys but can't find any pictures right now. This has to mount to the lower shaft of the cable steer trolling motors.

Have seen what Scott is talking about for cable steers. Old timers use to rig a hand control stick over the on/off button with a push button to turn it off and on while steering with the stick. This was long before the creation off electric steers. I guess I'm getting to be one of them Old Timers

Pro Kon Troll makes them specifically for cable steers. They are tough and you can stow your troll motor without a handle hassle.

This is close to what I have on mine. I hate foot control but I'm stuck with what I have.
