I always make it a point to "wet the hook" Jan 1. It is an old family tradition here. Didn't think I was gonna make it this year. I been feeling pretty crappy lately. Besides, my fishing partner wimped one me...haha...just kidding

Talked to a few of my buddies : DonG, Fatboy, Todd, Richard, Jim, Tonya, Betsy, Pooch, Curt, Tommy, Joe and a few others. What a way to end a year and begin another. Thanks for being my friend folks. Also thanks for calling and checking on us (Brenda and I) . Kinda makes you feel good when someone calls and checks just to see how you feel. Friends like you make Honey's and my life so much more enjoyable.

Who put up the new boat dock in the background? It wasn't there in July. Kentucky Lake looks as calm as usual.

I always try to fish the last day of the year and the first. But not this year. Been coughing so bad. Could not handle fishing.

You right Fatboy. That is our new neighbors New dock. It was just installed last week. They are from Kentucky. He works in Atlanta with Miller Brewing ( he is a beer hotdog). He gets free beer....hahaha....He brings me some everytime he comes up...Super nice folks........

That is the guy I met back in the spring and again in July. Rutt Roe, Miller brewing you say, uh, they don't make Natural Light. Guess free beer tastes great and is less filling though huh? Why can't I have neighbors like that. Tell him that FATBOY said hello and that I love him!!!!!! But tell him that love is in a non gay kinda way though. LOL FATBOY
