Good News = More Days Off. Bad News = More relatives visiting = More Bad News = Less time to fish.

I guess I'm lucky. I didn't have the imposition of many relatives and I have a wife that understands I'm much more pleasant to be around if I get some fishin' while she's visitin' .... I'm a lucky suk muk foo.

We're lucky here. Have been retired for several years. Have not fished a lot here at the lake in winter except from our dock. Bugman, where and how do you normally fish LOZ crappie in the winter? Do you ever fish the lake for walleye?

Right now with the lake still up i fish the first couple of miles of the glaize and the main lake around the 20mm,as soon as they drawdown the lake to 654-655 i'll start fishin the upper glaize,as far as how i use jigs only and mostly fish docks and deep brush, bluffs with shallow cut can be great at times the fish seem to move shallow on em to warm on sunny days when the water gets as cold as its gonna get,its been a strange year the water temp is still around 45-47 and it should be alot colder by now like in the mid to upper 30's when that happens in combination with the drawdown the fishin will get good.I wish i could say i catch walleye,i never really fish for em but would like to learn if you're in the know fill me in,i know where some will be before long if you're interested we'll go try em.What part of the lake do you live on?i may know some spots.
