April Fools day crappie on Guntersville Lake

My crappie buddy and I got out for a little while yesterday since it was such a pretty day. The crappie were not huge but they were hungry. We caught about 40 but had only 25 keepers. All were caught tossing Garland baits on 1/16 heads. We tried some under the bobber, but tight lined was the only thing that worked well. The crappie were in 5-8 feet of water were there was bait. I will add a couple of pictures and maybe some can figure out where we were.

I was there too...bank fishing.....cashed a check for 15 to take home. Threw 30 small ones back.
