Haven't been in Brush creek yet. But spent today in Eagle, Red Oak & White Oak downriver. Tough bite for crappie for me. Caught several short bass. Most ramps & campgrounds have a lot of damage from what I could see. White Oak looked like a bomb went off in the 1st slough. Those people have their work cut out for them.

I saw white oak also... At least they have a decent reason to have the boat ramp closed now...... I'm guessing that brush creek marina got hammered badly also.

Water temps ranged from 49-50 to 54-55 yesterday. White Oak was still muddy. Eagle creek was perfect color for fishing.

Spring and muddy water go hand in hand. No need to wait...the crappie don't care.

Creeks are raging torrents this morning. Gonna be a while before they are fishable.

Along those lines, I'll probably try to find out from the forums if EF is fishable Monday. I am off and am wanting to get out... My 1st choice was the river but it looks like that is definitely out due to more high water. I'm hoping they hold the water at EF but it doesn't rise too much before Monday and is still fishable.
