It wouldn't surpise me to see a few ponds around here with a substantial die-off. We've had snow cover from almost that time that we got freeze over. We're showing signs of thinning ice finally, with the snow pack thinning both on the waters and the land. We've still got plenty of ice but I've got to believe the light is starting to get through whats left. Wonder if it will be enough to ward off a winter kill. You guys north of me probably have it worse yet.
