    Default Truman 3/31/15- Windsor Crossing

Got out on the water about 730, done fishing by 1100. Caught a limit and threw back anything under 10 inches; I didn't have to throw back but a few. Spider rigging in about 13-17 Feet of water set about 6-9 feet down. I used minnows but I don't think it would have mattered too much, a good number of the hits came off of jig only. The best color that worked for me was a pink and char swarm jig with a char jig head. I tried to venture into some of the smaller coves across from the boat ramp but the only thing I caught were trees. Good luck.Name: image1.jpg

Fish counters. It's an individual metal type stringer with a color plastic piece. I bought those up at long shoal marina. Several different colors for distinguishing your fish from your buddy's fish. I think I paid like three bucks for them.

I need to get some of those. I have a separated livewell but it looks like an easy way to keep track of how many you need and an easy way to pluck them out of the well!

Nice day for sure! I've been wanting to go back to Windsor Crossing, I've only been once.
