Default Lews Speed Spin LG 200

I bought the reel to replace one that had seen better days. In the two months I have had it I have caught just short of 200 crappie, 12 large mouth bass the biggest of which was just over four pounds, Four catfish the largest being 6 pounds, and A few gasper too. The reel has been fished in the rain and the cold, casted jigs and shot docks, it is just as smooth as when I took it from the box. The reel has 10 bearings, a large spool to help casting, and a very smooth drag. All for a little over $30. I am in no way affiliated with Lews just sharing because it is a good reel for a fair price.

Yes Lew's I realized the phone auto corrected it and you can't edit the title line. If they were really smart phones it wouldn't have corrected me

Found it at a local sporting goods store. Looked on eBay and found a few close to that price

Thanks for this review. I'm in the market for a new reel. My goto is making some weird noises. Even my fishing buddy is razzing me over it. I hooked a 24 inch pickerel last week that made the reel sound like it was gonna explode into dust. Gonna look into getting one of these although I have to admit I have never heard of this brand before now.
