    Default BIG BASS WEIGHT?

I know this is really off topic here but I don't know where else to go for right now.

I caught this bass a couple of hours ago in a private pond and I'm trying to come up with a weight.

She was 22" long and her girth was 16". Any idea how much she weighed.

I released her. Caught her on a Zoom Trick 5" pumpkin seed.

    Thanks.

Well ..... I tried two "weight calculators" for a Bass of those dimensions and one (Fla) said 6.5lbs and the other (Bass Resource) said 7.5lbs (which is what I expected from those guesstimators )

But, I have a LMG on the wall with dimensions of 22" long & 18" girth ... and it weighed 7lbs ... so I'd ballpark your fish at around the 7lb mark. Close enough for a un-weighed & released fish.

    congrats ... that's a nice'un, regardless of any "exact" weight !!

    ... cp

Just guessin I would have to say , looks to be around 6-7lb - nice fish!!!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
