    Hi Jerry Blake,

I know you have caught some blacknose crappie down in Arkansas...Do they seem to fight a little harder than a white or regular black crappie?...Also, do they seem to be any thicker?...I have heard rumors that may grow faster than white and regular blacks and also fight a little harder..

    Thanks

The Arkansas game and fish raise these for stocking. Don't know if you could get any from them or not. I would contact them to see. About half of the crappie we catch in Lake Monticello are black nose crappie, they do seem to fight harder.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

    Hey Jeremy:

We do catch a few Arkansas Blacknose Crappie around here. I haven't really noticed that they fight any harder but we don't get that many so they are sorta special when we get a good one.
    FISH ON!
