    Default Fish caught this week

Ever seen one like this? Its missing the bottom part if its back fin. Looking at the picture I think the bottom is strange also. Caught at Percy priest in TN this week.

Blood is on the fish because I started to clean the other side before I realized I needed to take a picture.

Don't see anything particularly "wrong" with the belly or bottom fin ... but, the missing tail section could have been from a snapping turtle, otter, or some other predator animal. Looks like a clean bite that's healed, from what I can see ... so I don't think it's from nest fanning. Otherwise, looks like a nice sized Black Crappie headed to the freezer.

I caught some this week with cuts on thier backs...was scatching my head when I realized that it was the Ospreys grabbing at fish.

Overall it looks like that fish had a pretty tough life....the bottom fin does look a bit odd.

It looks like a male that might have been fanning a nesting bed for the females.
