All these fish fell to Crappie Buster's jigs. We didn't have to run very far for these fish. Crappie Buster's in-laws were in his boat on the side of us. We finished with 14 fish total. All caught in 16-18 feet of water. The cold 54 degree water temp had them stacked up on the bottom, but the bite was a little slow. It took us all day to land the 14 fish. Bike Mike was there too, and I think his boat did ok, too.
I'd rather be fishing!!!
Nice catch, SS.......the warm weather's got them scattered here. We worked all day and never got a bite until 4:30 pm, and caught 5 sacalait and one catfish before black dark. We're ready for more cold weather. Things are bass ackwards, you guys in S. LA got a record snowfall, we had cool weather and then a warm front.......go figure.
