Has anyone ever fished out of one of the old dyna trac's crappie boats made on the old Bomber patterns. I'm looking at a 99 year model, 16
ft 10 inch fiberglass with a 99 yr model evinrude fuel injected, 90 h.p.. It has about 150 hrs, transom is in great shape and I could'nt find any rot on the deck or console. I took motor toter off and stood on the motor with it up and transom did not give any. Seats didn't have any rot or cracks. Will need updated trolling motor and electronics. Can't buy them any more. Are they good for spider rigging and are they good in rough water. Please respond.

Never seen the crappie boat but the bass hulls are tough as nails. In fact I have a neighbor who just got rid of a 19 ft Ranger and bought a older Dyna Trac cause he likes the way they handle better.

I've never heard a bad word about the Dyna-Trac. Only those neglected and left outside had anything to comment on, and I would expect that.

I don't have one right now, but I'm looking at the boat again tomorrow and if it's possible I will try to get one and post it. I don't know a whole lot about them except for a friend who fishes out of one say's it's the best boat for crappie fishing that he has been in. I hope some more people with more knowledge chimes in and gives me more info. Thanks to everyone that's posted so far. I hope to get more responses.

Do any of you guys ever see any of these for sale. I was also wondering if the 1999 90 h.p. evinrude was a good motor. Thanks in advance.

My brother had a earlier 90's Dyna Trak. He had nothing but problems with it. Stress cracks in the bottom of the hull. These never were right after being fixed. It was brand spanking new too. Leaked water from the got go. My uncle bought the exact same boat but SC and 19'. That thing was the wettest boat I have ever been in. That's just my .02.

You can't beat the Early Evenrude.

This one your talking about is the first Crappie Dyna I have ever heard of. That Rude is a good motor. See a Dyna Trac for sale every once in awhile on BassBoatcentral or on craigslist but not often. Best thing is take it out and run it before you buy. Preferably in rough water.

Bought new and 99 and still looks pretty close to it. Does just fine in rough water. Wouldn't trade this boat for anything (except maybe a new Ranger lol) This is the only pic I had on my phone but if you would like I could post more pics later

I Would really like to see some more pics if it's not to much trouble, especially the front. What size motor are you running and how good does it handle it. Thanks in advance.

Does the shortness of the boat hinder you or is it a help. The guy wants 7500.00 for a 99 dyna-trak with a 99 evinrude, is that to much. It seems to be in real good shape at the transom and the console. I stood on the motor with it in the up position with out the motor support and it did not give any.

It is a dry ride that is stable on the water, takes rough water real well. I don't have any pictures. I sold it in 2001. The price he is asking seems high to me. I sold my boat, loaded, for $8500.

You see several bombers and dyna trac boats at Kentucky lake that have been repowered with newer motors. I would think if people are repowering them instead of buying something different that they are good boats. I think aries also made some boats off the same mold.

Where you sit up front (2 seats) is 68 inches wide. I just don't understand how it handles rough water with it only being that long.

I just purchased a Bomber built on the same design as the DynaTrak. I have a couple of friends that have the DynTrak and I have fished out of both of them, as far as I am concerned it is the best crappie fishing boat I have ever fished our of. They are hard to find and I just lucked up on this one, I pick it up Saturday can hardly wait. This one also has the take in take out bass deck.
