Those Splizzors look useful. I'm just not sure if they are $80 useful
I know that these questions aren't new for some so please bare with me and I'd really like your insights or thoughts on these two what should I do questions ?
I'm in the market for a long handle landing net with rubber netting just for crappie I know about the stretch ego model but have heard they are heavy and don't float . Any of you know of anything that is better without making something myself ? I have never used a long handle before I only fish with a jig pole . If you know of anything please tell me where I can order from .
Have any of you used the Splizzors made by Buck Knives ? Are would long nose pliers be better ?

I saw the Splizzors and thought they would be the bomb. Then I saw the price and saw my billfold exploding. I'll stick with needle nose.
I use the EGO reach net .... and put a section of pool noodle on it.
Splizzors ... no thank you --- not when I can buy a pair of pliers at the dollar store and a pair of Fiskar scissors at Wally World for < $3
... cp
Splizzors $80.00as bad as I drop stuff. If they went overboard I would have to go overboard with them.

Fiskars and split ring pliers from Wallyland. We have his and hers setup. Billbob sometimes occupies the her side. I use the split ring feature for opening lead weights. Works great. Fiskars cut the braid line good too.
I also have the EGO reach. It hangs out in the garage.

I just got the regular ego reach net with the PVC coated mesh and I really like it the few times I've used it past couple weeks. I wanted the rubber one but didn't think the extra cost was really worth it ordering the rubber one online then to just pick up the regular one in the store I was at. I'll see how this one holds up and maybe next time I'll get the rubber one. Don't think you can go wrong with either
We use the Crappie Master net, very stout and good hoop on it. Only thing about it is that it is NOT a one man operation, need a net man. Also, needs a noodle on it so it wont sink.

I have and use the EGO S2...it floats and extends to 60 in.
For the Everlasting Glory of the Infantry.
By the way, the CM net extends to over 12 feet.
