Default Bucksaw Today, First time rigging

What a great day. Fished with friends, ran into other friends. Oh yeah and we caught some fish too. First time I've ever been spider rigging. HOOOOOOOOKED. Getting my own setup this week. See you soon Jared.

Put in at Bucksaw, Fished Jackson. 18 FOW and down. Between 6-10 Ft deep I'd say. Jigs tipped with minnows. Color didnt seem to matter, but Silver with Chart had the best bite maybe? I went out with Jeff (JigFisherX) and David (dhkdl1), His son David and Latimer (dog). We had a great time. Brought home some limits. Jeff easily had some 14s, 13.5s, etc. I had some 12.5s, 12s.... I lost at least two BIG ones swinging them in the boat. Very frustrating, but hey it was a successful day regardless haha. As always, Jeff out fished me. I caught 1 or 2 when we first got there, then I think he caught about 10 or more before I got another.

All and all a great day on the water with friends.

Had a great time with Ryan, David and son. You and David have a great day on smithvie Saturday. A limit makes a nice mess when everything is 11 to 14 inches.

By the way, I'm still helping Ryan spend his paycheck. 4 new rods, rigging stand, new miner bucket...... What else does he need. Think it's time for a new trolling motor and some new electronics....... :-)

Better have himself one of those long dipnets to keep those slabs from breaking his rods

Thanks for the report and pictures. I think Jared needs to hire Jeff as a part time sales person to get these guys hooked where they have to buy more fishing stuff. Congrats to Jeff for helping out Ryan.
