Hit Pomona this morning for a few hours and caught one crappie… no fish on the breaks or in the brush. Couldn't find them in the channel or channel edges, couldn't find the any where but scatter chasing shad on the flats… Headed toward their love nests it looks like. good luck if you get out this weekend.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

I hit Clinton for a few hrs. Fri. afternoon and couldnt find a crappie anywhere! First time Ive been totally skunked in a long time, but that just made me more determined, going back asap! Luck to all!

Yep the shad schools I've been chasing at Hillsdale are gone , took a friend and his son saturday and we only caught one crappie and some white bass but still a beautiful day on the water.this was the only one
