Just got back to the Midwest after being gone for almost 16 years. Crappie fishing for the first time tomorrow in a LONG time! CAN'T WAIT.

I just hope that we run into some sturdy SLABCRAPPIE.I wonder if they are hitting oncarrot jigs?I heard from a good sourcethat carrots are the way to go.

Windsor crossing today, 12-15 foot, open water. Good hits on minnows and jigs alike. Biggest was over 13". Total of 18 between the two of us. Threw back a bunch and had some get away.
