    Crescent Lake
    Public Ramp
    Crescent City, Fl

    Temp at 66.0 - 6am, by noon 73.4
    Bara pressure 30:15 moving slightly up
    30:18 by 10 am, Started down to fall
    to 30:15 by 1 pm, 30:l6 by 2pm.Wnd calm
    till 9am, by 10 am 10.4 mph-gusts 19.6
    out of south. Noon 15.0 mph, 23.0 wind
    gusts. Water temp. 63.4 - 65.2.
    Things started downhill from there.

    Twenty-five (25) teams took to water for
    fifth event of 2015. A few teams had
    passed due to wind conditions past 2 days-fearing Mr. Crappie ws going to have total lockjar. Fishing had been
    somewhat slow past week...

    Two (2) positions paid for "Big Fish"

    1st: Sam Adams / Russell Cheetham
    2 lbs 06.3 oz

    2nd: Harold McGhee / Ken Hamilton
    2 lbs 06.2 oz

    One hundred of 1 oz separated two fish
    caught in different parts of lake.

    Five (5) positions paid for "7 fish
    total catch weight"

    13 lbs 09.5 oz

    2nd: Darryl & Terri Cole
    12 lbs 11.8 oz

    3rd: George Parker / Tim Eberly
    12 lbs. 11.8 oz.

    4th: Al & Alan Green

    11 lbs 09.0 oz.

    long-ling, minnow tipped, AWD curley
    tailes (blue - purple - chart.) 12' water.
    south of island.

    2nd: Cole team: Wally Marshall rods,
    long-ling, minnow tipped, Skipper crappie
    flies, red - hot pink - chart: Awd blue
    curly tails, Southern Pro chart stingers,
    Charlie Brewer sliders, sour grape.
    Breezy point area, 12' water.

    3rd: Parker team: Wally Marshall rods,
    14-16', Long-ling, minnow tipped using
    Skippers crappie flies, red-chart, Southern pro stingers, black- yellow,
    working Breezy point north to island
    12-13' water

    4th: New Team: Al & Alan Green, Southern Pro rods, long-lining Bear Island
    area 12-14' water, using Charling Brewer
    sliders, blue/black & black chart.,minnow
    tipped.

    5th: Larry Durden: Wally Marshall rods,
    long-ling, minnow tipped, Awd - Charlie
    Brewer Sliders, sour grape- blue/black
    & Char./Black south end of Bear Island
    12 ft water.

    Actually believe the high winds had somewhat helped the lake by stirring up
    things up a little - fish were not caught around normal area's this time of year
    ie: Dead lake - Canal - Green Cove. Really scattered - in all levels of water
    column were involved. Saw several good sized males caught, most all females of
    weight were very heavy with roe.
