Default Where to fish for spot?

Me and my brother wanted to go to the beach this weekend, but have no clue as to where to go fishing for some spots and other fishes. We were talking about Topsoil island. Are people catching alot of fishes at topsoil, and what kind? Please any information on any beach is deeply appreciated. Have never gone fishing at NC beach. But i have heard people catch alotof fishes. Again any info on any NC beach would be great.

Hey. I went to kure beach this past weekend but they werent catching any spots. Go to the piers web site and see if they have a fishing report. That will tell you what they are catching. Tight lines.

this time of year the spots are hit and miss. your best bet is to fish the long beach pier in Oak island (south of wilmington) i always catch fish there. they have been catching a handful everyday, and whiting is an everyday thing there.
